PLUMCAKE PATTY (Davisson-J 2016)

PLUMCAKE PATTY is a 7" patterned "blue" lilac bitone with lavender sepals, a light lilac watermark, a wide cream to green throat, and a dark lavender pencil halo. Starts early in the season and instantly reblooms going well into mid season. Sturdy 38" scapes have 4- and 5-way branching and carry up to 20 buds. Fertile both ways but podding takes persistence in hot weather. Much admired during my open garden after the national as Seedling 11-6, it's a hardy semi-evergreen from CAROLINA COOL DOWN x SEA SCAPE. Fast increaser...excellent for sales gardens. Tetraploid.
